Insert Symbols in MS Word |
|
Are you constantly inserting symbols? √ ◊ I love a checkmark. After going to Insert, Symbol several times I decided to make it easier for myself. Look at the options at the bottom of the dialog box once you have gone in and located the symbol you want. You can add it to AutoCorrect or even assign your own shortcut keys to insert it in future. I used the AutoCorrect option so every time I type chk I get √. In AutoCorrect add your 3 initials so it puts your full name, a shortcut for your full company name, etc. Little things like this add up and can save you time.
