Your credit score and how to take care of it. This is a subject that is not taught in school, nor is it discussed in most homes. If the parents are knowledgeable to pass this education to their children, the children probably will not listen. This seems to be a subject an “outsider” must provide.
There are so many easy rules to make your Life Report Card (aka, the credit score) sufficiently high enough so that you will always be in control of your finances.
Like your physical health, if your don’t take care of your financial health, it will take on a life of it’s own.
You must learn the simple rules of credit control, i.e. Never miss a payment, if you carry a balance don’t be more then 50- 60% of the balance. Don’t have too many credit lines open that are not being used. These are a few, there a many more.
