WOW!! so it is *677.....whatever! ...as long as it works and keeps people safe from the crazies! Thank you so much for taking the time to answer, Constable Fines.! I will email this to many of the women about whom I care. P.S. I just tried it from my land phone and from my cell phone. From my land phone it rang busy but from my cell phone...it rang through to the OPP operator. She told me that this is a province wide (I think) service and that if you don't remember the 677 to remember *OPP (star OPP) I am impressed. We can feel a little safer when we are on the roads and have an unsafe feeling or someone approaches or follows us and we feel frightened / suspicious ...day or night! First I have heard of it.
