What is the nature of your business:	LIVE TAX FREE - Life Insurance Specialist I show people the value of life insurance products - specifically how to get TAX FREE money! Proudly a life insurance specialist.
What sparked your interest in your business?:	Life insurance is not always something people find easy to understand. Once I studied it and understood it's true value I wanted to share that with others. What you don't know can hurt you.
Why are you passionate about your business now?:	I've seen the results! I have happy clients who send me referrals. Once people understand some simple concepts about insurance and taxation they are amazed they didn't know about this before!
Why did you choose having a business vs working for someone else?:	It just suits my personal style to be self employed. It offers challenges and freedom at the same time!
What are some obstacles you faced and how did you deal with them?:	In the insurance business it takes time to build credibility and trust. But once you have it, that's the sign of a successful business. I'm now entering my 9th year in this business and love what I do!
Who or what has been the biggest supporter of your business?:	Other insurance advisors. In my first 4 years in this business I won a few industry awards which were nice, but the encouragement from senior advisor's was tremendous.
Have you ever accessed a business coach or consulted with a mentor? Describe.:	I was lucky enough to have colleagues and managers share their expertise with me in these areas. Not only in product knowledge but in the aspect of doing what's right for the client.
What is your business goal for the future?:	My goals are to have informative, no pressure internet seminars. I want people to feel comfortable asking questions about insurance without feeling the pressure to purchase any products.
What is your proudest business victory or achievement?:	Actually I am thrilled when I hear my clients say, "I wish I would have met you sooner!" They are thrilled with the plans we are putting in place for their and their families future. That's a very good feeling.
What is your business mission statement?:	Honest, professional advice.
What words of wisdom about Business would you like to share?:	Never stop networking!
What words of wisdom about LIFE would you like to share?:	Show gratitude for each day and don't forget to laugh....REAL loud!
Do you have a favourite quote?:	Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive, well preserved body, but rather to SKID in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, “Whoo-hoo, what a ride!”
