 You missed a fantastic Day Saturday Nov 12!

I am sure you will hear the women talking about it. Who knew you could have so much fun shopping with a bunch of women, many who did not know one another. They were all friends and talking business by the end of the afternoon.

The recommended retail store owner were amazing they truly have some the best stores in Barrie...you need to drop by next time you are in Downtown Barrie and visit them.

 Big thanks to Chantal from Living Edge Promotions & her assistant Jen (Who we discovered is an awesome singer!) They did an awesome job organizing and adding lots of laughs and entertainment for NetWeavers Canada "Pay it Forward" annual Barrie's NetWeavers Walk.

 Special mention to Gina and Bailey who initiated the walk after hearing about the concept from Diane. Gina found a dress!!!!

 The "Pay it Forward" charity was the Parents of Down Syndrome of Barrie it was great to have their support and we were happy to have them on the walk with us.
We chose this charity to welcome Blake the newest member of our McGee/Graystone family.

Any donations from the walkers went to this charity.

Welcome to our little Blake we love you and are looking forward to meeting you when you come to Canada in December.

We truly appreciated the support of Downtown Business Association, City of Barrie, SNAP Newspaper, Crigger Marketing, Responsive Mailing, Print CopyMail,

and the TV Stations and of course the Downtown Barrie Retailers and all the fun loving WALKERS & SHOPPERS.

 8. Loved Again Bridal 30 Dunlop Street E

 9. The wrap up Mix & Mingle was At The Five 10 Dunlop Street  We have been asked to repeat the NetWeavers Walk in the Spring as there were many more stores who want to be part of the walk, we will keep you posted.

We also would like to see other communities duplicate a NetWeavers Walk for their Downtown Stores.

VENDORS: Those who have a product to sell are invited to have a small tabletop display. Cost $30 includes dinner & donation.

NETWORKING TABLE: If it is a service you wish to promote your cards can be displayed on the networking table. Cost is $25 includes buffet dinner & donation.

Our "Pay it Forward" charity of choice is Breaking Down Barriers

NetWeavers "Pay it Forward" Walk in Bradford Co-hosted by:

The next NetWeavers Walk will be help in Bradford Sat. June 20th 9 AM watch for the locaton and where we will meet.

This is a summary of the first ever NetWeavers Walk held in Barrie.

Netweavers met in Barrie for the first Netweavers "Pay it Forward" walk with the cooperation of:

• WINGS and HEROS Associates

• Local Chamber of Commerce or Board of Trade
• Economic Development
• Downtown Business Association.
• Friends or Family of the walkers

The pilot project of "Paying it Forward" in School: happened in October 2008 at Kempenfelt Bay School, Barrie. This was a very successful and well recieved event and we plan to visit more schools with this very effective project. Doris Doran was the one who spearheaded this project and since her passing it has been on hold. We do how some of our co-ordinators will offer this to their local schools.
