You missed a fantastic Day Saturday Nov 12!
I am sure you will hear the women talking about it. Who knew you could have so much fun shopping with a bunch of women, many who did not know one another. They were all friends and talking business by the end of the afternoon. The recommended retail store owner were amazing they truly have some the best stores in Barrie...you need to drop by next time you are in Downtown Barrie and visit them. Big thanks to Chantal from Living Edge Promotions & her assistant Jen (Who we discovered is an awesome singer!) They did an awesome job organizing and adding lots of laughs and entertainment for NetWeavers Canada "Pay it Forward" annual Barrie's NetWeavers Walk. Special mention to Gina and Bailey who initiated the walk after hearing about the concept from Diane. Gina found a dress!!!! The "Pay it Forward" charity was the Parents of Down Syndrome of Barrie it was great to have their support and we were happy to have them on the walk with us. Any donations from the walkers went to this charity.
We truly appreciated the support of Downtown Business Association, City of Barrie, SNAP Newspaper, Crigger Marketing, Responsive Mailing, Print CopyMail, and the TV Stations and of course the Downtown Barrie Retailers and all the fun loving WALKERS & SHOPPERS. Bell Book and Candle Bookstore 133 Dunlop Street E 3. Metzger Studio 76 Dunlop St. E 4. Bravo Fine Lingerie 84 Dunlop Street E 5.Tropical North 42 Dunlop Street E This was the 2nd time this store was recommended) 6. Donaleighs Pub 28 Dunlop Street E 7.The Paper Merchant 13 Dunlop Street E 8. Loved Again Bridal 30 Dunlop Street E 9. The wrap up Mix & Mingle was At The Five 10 Dunlop Street We have been asked to repeat the NetWeavers Walk in the Spring as there were many more stores who want to be part of the walk, we will keep you posted. We also would like to see other communities duplicate a NetWeavers Walk for their Downtown Stores. |
